With the increasing awareness of police violence against Black Americans, many of us are left wondering what we can do besides listen and protest.

I’ve learned heaps from their newsletters. For example, “Alton and Philando were the 184th and 185th black people killed by police this year. They should both be alive today.”
And also from their newsletter,
# of people the police killed in 2015: 1,209
# of people the police have killed to-date in 2016: 599
# of officers charged with a crime for killing someone in 2016: 5
We can do better. We must do better. But first, we have to understand what it is we’re fighting for.
